Role Description
The Warm Hub is seeking reliable and friendly volunteers to support our Wednesday session from 11:30am – 1:30pm Ponthir. This role involves helping create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment for all visitors attending the hub. Volunteers will assist with basic food and drink service, light cleaning duties, and social interaction with customers to help reduce isolation and promote community wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving food to customers
- Preparing and serving teas and coffees
- Chatting and engaging positively with customers
- Washing up and keeping kitchen areas tidy
- Supporting general hub duties as needed
- Helping maintain a warm, welcoming and respectful environment
