The Wellbeing Hub, run by Wellbeing with Jo, is a friendly, supportive weekly drop‑in held every Thursday from 2:15pm–4:15pm at Cwmbran Library. It offers a calm and welcoming space for people to connect, relax, and focus on their personal wellbeing.
The Hub is designed to reduce isolation and support emotional wellbeing through conversation, gentle mindfulness, activities, and shared experiences. Visitors are welcome to drop in, sit with a cuppa, meet new people, or simply enjoy being in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
Each session may include guest speakers, practical wellbeing activities, and opportunities to explore helpful local health information and resources. Attendees can also access library wellbeing books and be signposted to additional support where needed.
A key part of the Wellbeing Hub is its befriender support, offering friendly listening and encouragement in a safe, non‑judgemental space. For those interested in giving back, there is also the opportunity to become a befriender, with training and guidance provided.
The Wellbeing Hub is open to adults of all backgrounds, whether you are seeking connection, ongoing support for your wellbeing, or simply a positive place to spend an afternoon.
