Pickleball
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK. It's played on a court the same size as badminton with a net about the height of a tennis net and a plastic ball with holes like we used to use in school!
While it can be a fast game there are rules which slow it down and our club has player from across the age range but a particularly large number of player over the age of 60.
Pre pandemic we played indoors and now different groups are playing outdoors. One group plays Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Pontypool Park from 10-12. If you are new to the sport you can borrow equipment free of charge and get help to get you started.
