Social Enterprise Charity

ProMo-Cymru works to ensure young people and communities are informed, engaged, connected and heard.

 

We work collaboratively to make links between people and services using creativity and digital technology. Supporting the third and public sectors to imagine, test and create better services.

 

ProMo works with communities through communications, advocacy, cultural engagement, digital and media production. Our work is informed by over 20 years of delivering digital youth information projects. We share this knowledge through training and consultancy, forming long term partnerships to benefit people and organisations.

 

ProMo is a registered charity and social enterprise; our profits are invested back into our community projects.

 

Included in the list of projects that ProMo delivers are several helpline services.

Meic is for children and young people across Wales and includes a website featuring lots of informative blogs alongside the helpline service, which can be contacted free on the phone (080880 23456), text (84001) or online chat.

The Gwent Access To Advocacy (GATA) helpline is a single point of contact for over 18’s who need help talking to professionals in public services about their care and support needs, making them aware of their rights and giving them a voice in decisions that affect them. Contact free on 0808 801 0566.

Rydym yn cydweithio i greu cysylltiadau rhwng pobl a gwasanaethau gan ddefnyddio creadigrwydd a thechnoleg ddigidol. Yn cefnogi’r trydydd sector a’r sector cyhoeddus i ddychmygu, profi a chreu gwasanaethau gwell.

Mae ProMo-Cymru yn gweithio gyda chymunedau trwy gyfathrebiadau, eiriolaeth, ymgysylltiad diwylliannol, digidol a chynnyrch cyfryngol. Mae dros 20 mlynedd o drosglwyddo prosiectau gwybodaeth ieuenctid digidol yn dylanwadu ein gwaith. Rydym yn rhannu’r wybodaeth yma drwy hyfforddiant ac ymgynghoriad, yn creu partneriaethau hir dymor fydd yn buddio pobl a sefydliadau.

Mae ProMo-Cymru yn elusen gofrestredig ac yn fenter gymdeithasol; mae’r elw yn cael ei fuddsoddi’n ôl i’n prosiectau cymunedol.

Ymysg y rhestr o brosiectau mae ProMo yn ei drosglwyddo mae yna sawl gwasanaeth llinell gymorth. Mae Meic ar gyfer plant a phobl ifanc Cymru ac yn cynnwys gwefan gyda blogiau llawn gwybodaeth ddefnyddiol ynghyd â’r gwasanaeth llinell gymorth. Mae llinell gymorth Mynediad i Eiriolaeth Gwent (MIEG) yn un pwynt cyswllt i rai dros 18 oed sydd angen cymorth i siarad gyda gweithwyr proffesiynol y gwasanaethau cyhoeddus am eu hanghenion gofal a chefnogaeth, yn sicrhau eu bod yn deall eu hawliau ac yn cael mwy o lais am y penderfyniadau sydd yn cael effaith arnyn nhw. Gwent Access to Advocacy, a service that may be of use for tenants, service users and residents in the Gwent Area. Advisers on the helpline can provide information and advice on advocacy, can advise on entitlement to advocacy based on care and support needs, and can signpost and refer to relevant advocacy services and other specialist services.

Gwent, gwasanaeth fydda'n gallu bod yn ddefnyddiol i denantiaid, defnyddwyr gwasanaeth a thrigolion ardal Gwent. Gall cynghorwyr y llinell gymorth ddarparu gwybodaeth a chyngor ar eiriolaeth, rhoi cyngor ar hawl i eiriolaeth wedi'i selio ar anghenion gofal a chefnogaeth, ac yn gallu cyfeirio at wasanaethau eiriolaeth berthnasol a gwasanaethau arbenigol eraill.
 

Is the advocacy helpline for me?

Yes if:

  • you are 18+, live in Greater Gwent (Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport, Torfaen), and need help talking to professionals in public services about your care and support needs
  • you are a carer aged 18+, live in Greater Gwent and need help talking to professionals in public services about either your own care and support needs or those of someone you care for
  • you are a relative, friend or professional who thinks a person may benefit from advocacy

How can an advocate help?

An advocate is someone who will:

  • be there just for you and to take your side
  • help you to find and understand information
  • help you to consider your options and make your own decisions
  • ensure that your views, wishes and feelings are listened to and considered
  • speak on your behalf when you need them to

Mae cynghorwyr cyffeillgar GATA yn cynnig gwybodaeth, cyngor a chefnogaeth gyda chyfeiriadau at wasanaethau eiriolaeth i oedolion. Gan ein bod yn annibynnol o awdurdodau lleol, y GIG a darparwyr eiriolaeth, gallem sicrhau eich bod yn derbyn y fath o eiriolaeth sydd yn gywir i chi.

Ydy os ydych chi:

  • yn 18+, yn byw yng Ngwent Fwyaf (Blaenau Gwent, Caerffili, Sir Fynwy, Casnewydd, Torfaen) ac angen cymorth i siarad gyda gweithwyr proffesiynol y gwasanaethau cyhoeddus am eich anghenion gofal a chefnogaeth
  • yn ofalwr 18+, yn byw yng Ngwent Fwyaf ac angen cymorth i siarad gyda gweithwyr proffesiynol y gwasanaethau cyhoeddus am anghenion gofal a chefnogaeth chi neu rywun rydych chi'n gofalu amdanynt
  • yn berthynas, ffrind neu'n weithiwr proffesiynol sydd yn credu byddai rhywun yn buddio o dderbyn eiriolaeth

Mae eiriolwr yn rhywun fydd:

  • yno yn arbennig i chi ac yn eich cefnogi
  • yn eich helpu i ddarganfod a deall gwybodaeth
  • yn eich helpu i ystyried eich opsiynau a gwneud penderfyniadau eich hun
  • yn sicrhau bod gwrandawiad ac ystyriaeth i'ch barn, dymuniadau a theimladau
  • yn siarad ar eich rhan pan fydd angen hynny
