PAPYRUS Prevention Of Young Suicide is the national charity for youth suicide prevention.
We support young people and those of any age who are concerned about them through our free, confidential helpline service HOPELINE247. This is open to anyone under 35 with thoughts of suicide or anyone of any age who supports them.
We run training for professionals, supporters and others who are involved in young people's lives to ensure that they know how to support someone with suicidal thoughts and the services that are out there to support them.
We look to influence society and smash the stigma around suicide. Talking openly and safely about suicide decreases the likelihood of suicide taking place and we need to take that message to all our communities. This is possible through our network of volunteers across Wales as well as our regular staff team here.
