The Champions Network: Fighting inequality in renting.

Here at The Champions Network, we are all about tackling inequality and discrimination in private renting. We do this by working with tenants and landlords to educate, raise awareness and share good practice. We are partnering with different services to offer practical solutions to the biggest problems in renting.     

Do you think the renting system could work better for everyone involved? Would you like to help tackle housing inequality and social injustice?      Would you like to get your voice heard on housing issues?

If you answered 'yes' to any of those questions, get involved in the following ways!

  1. Attend meetings about private renting in your area, share experiences and offer your views. 
  2. Help out at drop-ins and events to spread the word about discrimination in private renting and what can be done to tackle it. 
  3. Help to write training for letting agents and landlords about equality and discrimination.
  4. Help create resources for tenants and landlords about rights and responsibilities in renting.
