50+ Forums
There are three independent 50+ Forums supported by Torfaen Council, in partnership with Age Connects Torfaen:
The groups each meet monthly, in person, in their respective towns. Anybody aged 50 or over and living in the area is welcome to attend and become a member.
By attending 50+ Forum meetings you will:
- Find out about local news and information (including updates from Age Connects Torfaen, the Council and other Public Services)
- Hear from guest speakers about interesting topics
- Take part in consultations and have a chance to have a say on issues that will affect you
- Meet new people
- Have opportunities to go on occasional coach trips
Meetings take place on Tuesday afternoons:
- Blaenavon - 1st Tuesday of each month
The forums meet for 11 months of each year and arrange a nice Christmas meal in December!
