Abby vass

Hi, I am Abby Vass, a girl who is turning sixteen on the 16th of September 2026.

I am looking to gain valuable experience, develop my skills and build my confidence, which I hope will help me in the future when creating my CV and applying for opportunities later to come.

If I were to describe my character, I would consider myself extroverted, friendly and open-minded. I enjoy meeting new people and being introduced to new environments and experiences.

On many occasions, I have had to speak to and build friendships with people I had never met before, both inside and outside of school. I enjoy helping others and would especially like the opportunity to support people who may need it most.

I believe that I have good communication skills and can express myself confidently. Throughout school, I have taken part in presentations where I have had to speak in front of others. These experiences have helped me become more comfortable communicating clearly and confidently, and I believe this is an important skill to have in both education and in workplaces.

I have also learned the importance of recognising when I need help and being confident enough to ask for it. Over time, I have pushed myself to become less afraid of making mistakes and have learned that it is completely natural to struggle with something when you are learning. I believe that being willing to ask questions, learn from others and improve myself is an important thing most people can carry.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing and painting. I love reading because it helps me expand my vocabulary and discover new ideas. Writing gives me a way to express my feelings and thoughts on paper when I sometimes find it difficult to express them. Finally, painting allows me to capture what I see around me and bring my imagination and ideas to life.
