The learning and performance of 4-part male voice music

Pontnewydd Male Choir has been in existence for nearly 120 years and has a proud tradition of being one of the oldest and significant choirs in the area.

Recent times have been difficult for the choir with Covid have a major impact. Membership has reduced by 30% but subsequently we are embarking on a recruitment campaign and expect to see a reassurgance in membership. 

All men are welcome to join us at a practice session to see if male voice singing is something that suits them! Come to our new practice venue at Nant Bran Community Facility ( the old Upper Cwmbran Infant and Junior School ) NP44 1SN on either a Tuesday or Friday between 7 and 9pm. We look forward to welcoming you.

Membership offers the opportunity to learn and perform new music and in doing so raise considerable sums for worth while causes. Life long friendships can be the result of membership and friendly banter is always present in the practice room. Come and be entertained!
