About

Cymryd Rhan has been providing support to citizens across Wales for nearly 40 years.  The charity was originally set up by a group of parents who were struggling to find support for their children once their special education finished and who were not eligible for statutory services.  Those families drove strong values in engagement, equality, opportunity and inclusion.  Those values still underpin everything we do today by placing each person we support at the very heart of what we do.  Over the past 40 years we have been supporting all citizens in Wales from children to our older citizens. We have built up relationships with individuals and familes through trust and are seeing a significant increase in requests for housing related type demand, such as support with financial concerns, issues with housing, general feelings around well being, being part of a community and support with actively seeking employment.
