Gardening 12-2

We have a small garden within which we grow both fruit/vegetables and flowers. Your role will be to work as a team to maintain the space

Group size is approximately 3

Informal walk and talk group/ 12-2

We are not a formal walking group but we do take advantage of the wonderful surroundings to walk and talk at a pace that suits the group. The route does include some very steep hills – but it’s worth it.

Group size is approximately 8

Furniture upcycling group 12-2.

We reclaim wooden furniture that is no longer required or wanted. This includes repair work, paint stripping and general restoration work.

Group size is approximately 4

Darts 12-2

This is a group specially for those who want to play like Luke Littler but with an average score matching just one of his dart throws.

Group size is approximately 6

General upcycling group 1-3

We will be making items from materials which might otherwise be deemed rubbish. So we will want to use materials to create items we can sell.

Gardd O Gobaith is a community run space which we are passionate about. We are not offering a service and all of us who attend do so to manage and maintain good wellbeing. Anyone who wishes to join us will be able to help continue to make Gardd O Gobaith a welcoming and friendly community space which we are all, in one way or other, responsible for.

Gardd O Gobaith time table from 01/02/25. All groups are subject to change due to a  variety of commitments. We have access to toilets at the Queen Inn which is a short walk from where we are based. We are also limited on car parking spaces. We are on a bus route with a bus stop a few minutes walk away. Group sizes are small (usually a maximum of 6) so places are on a first come, first served basis. Currently we do not have a fixed charge for group access – but we do encourage material or money donations which contribute to the management and running of the site/space
