Bereavement Friends is a peer support group for those who have lost loved ones. The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, from 10-11am. We're open to anyone, at any stage of the grieving process: whether you're recently bereaved or years down the line. Our aim is to offer a safe, supportive space to talk about how you're feeling with people who understand.
Sessions are facilitated by volunteers who can support activities such as scrapbooking, memory boxes and journaling, signpost to other relevant services or just offer a listening ear. Volunteers are not qualified counsellors but have all received CRUSE verified training in supporting people experiencing grief.
