Role Purpose
The Women’s Circle Ambassador plays a key role in supporting the growth, visibility and impact of the Women’s Circle community. This volunteer position helps create safe, inclusive and empowering spaces for women to connect, share experiences and support one another. Ambassadors act as advocates for the values of the Women’s Circle, helping to build engagement, encourage participation and strengthen the sense of community.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a positive representative of the Women’s Circle and its values.
- Support the promotion of Women’s Circle events, sessions and initiatives.
- Welcome and support new and existing members to help them feel safe and included.
- Assist with organising and/or facilitating circle sessions where appropriate.
- Encourage community engagement both online and in-person.
- Share feedback, insights and community needs with organisers to support ongoing improvement.
- Help maintain a respectful, supportive and confidential environment within the circle.
- Support outreach activities to help grow awareness of the Women’s Circle.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Passion for supporting and empowering women and community wellbeing.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to listen with empathy and without judgement.
- Reliable, organised and able to commit agreed volunteer time.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Desirable
- Experience in community work, volunteering, facilitation or group support.
- Experience working with diverse communities.
- Basic event coordination or community engagement experience.
- Confidence using social media or online community platforms (if relevant).
