Community Kit Room – Free Sports Clothing & Footwear for All
We know the cost of living can make it hard to afford the right gear for sports. That’s why the Community Kit Room is here – a FREE service designed to remove barriers and help everyone get active.
Our mission? To provide free sports clothing and footwear for children and adults who might struggle to buy new items. From football and rugby tops and boots to gymnastics leotards, we’ve got you covered.
This fantastic initiative is brought to you by Torfaen Council’s Health Sport and Fitness team, Blaenavon Town Council, Cwmbran Community Council, Eastern Valley Foodbanks, Garnsychan Partnership, and Circulate Blaenavon.
How It Works
- Collect: Visit one of our hubs to pick up free sportswear.
- Donate: We’re always looking for good quality sports clothes and footwear, especially children’s items.
Donation Guidelines ✅ Items we accept:
- Clean, washed sports clothing
- Paired trainers and boots (tied together, free of dirt or mud)
❌ Items we cannot accept:
- Stained or damaged clothing
- Unpaired or damaged trainers/boots
- Sporting equipment
