Marauders Men’s Health Walk & Talk - Cwmbran Boating Lake

Hello Marauders On 1st December we are at Cwmbran for a walk around the very picturesque Boating Lake. Our route leads us from the Olive Tree Coffee Shop to the Boating Lake then to an adjacent road to make the return journey. The route is approximately 2 miles but depending on how people feel we can extend it. The route is mainly pathways but wear boots as we may encounter some more muddier trails. The lakes were constructed in 1971 borne in the success of Roath Park in Cardiff. The park is bordered by Aron Llwyd on one side and a railway line on the other. The lake has facilities but bring a packed lunch if you prefer. There is free parking outside the Olive Tree. I’m sharing a what3words address to help you find this specific location.
