Marauders Men’s Health Walk & Talk - Parc Nant-Y-Waun

Hello Marauders ☀️☀️☀️ On the 6th April we are at Brynmawr to discover a local nature reserve with great scenery. The nature reserve is situated near to Brynmawr Beaufort and Nantyglo. Following land reclamation of former mine workings it opened in 2007. The park includes over three hectares of native new woodland and large pond known as ‘Machine Pond’ that was originally created over 200 years ago as a reservoir for supplying the Nantyglo Ironworks. There is also two other ponds to discover full of amazing wildlife. This is a flat walk and a level 3 on our 1-10 difficulty scale. Parking is available nearby at Asda Supermarket for 2 hours only.
