Working on Wellbeing is a free service, delivered by Disability Can Do in collaboration with Scope. We are open to people who are;
•          Disabled - including if they have a physical or sensory impairment, learning difficulty, autism or mental health condition
•          Living in Wales
•          Aged 16 and over
•          Unemployed

We work with disabled people to develop a programme around their career goals and how they can achieve them. We do this through group and one-to-one sessions, and help people to:
•          Understand their career goals.
•          Grow in confidence, assertiveness, and independence
•          Write their CV
•          Develop interview skills
•          Find and apply for volunteering, training, or employment opportunities
They will also have:
•          Exclusive access to job boards to find vacancies from inclusive employers
•          In-work support if you start work whilst with us. This includes practical guidance on requesting adjustments, support with Access to Work forms, and emotional support

Disability Can Do offers two streams of support;
A 7 week pre-employment group training. This is for disabled people in those early stages on their employment journey. We help build confidence and core employment skills before starting their job search.
Support includes:
•             2 group sessions delivered each week. Group sessions focus on core skills such as confidence, communication and CV writing
•             A weekly one-to-one with your dedicated employment adviser. They will support them with your personal work goals
•             Building confidence and encouraging people to speak positively about disability
•             Support to find and keep voluntary work, paid work, education or training
•             3 months of fortnightly check in calls once the 7 weeks have finished. We can support with enrolment forms or application forms, as well as checking in on their wellbeing.

A 6 month one to one support service, for disabled people who feel ready to start work. Support is delivered through fortnightly one to one sessions. Individuals have a dedicated adviser to support them.
Support includes:
•          Support disabled people to grow in confidence, assertiveness, and independence
•          Provide help with CV and interview techniques
•          Discuss reasonable adjustments and encourage people to speak positively about disability
•          Provide specialist support to find and keep employment
