Join TCBC Ecologist Rachel Edwards for an introduction to spotting the signs of mammals which use the canal and canal corridor.

We will take a gentle walk along the canal tow path and Rachel will show us key areas to check for signs of mammals.

This is an introductory session suitable for complete beginners who want to know a little more about which animals will use the canal along with us humans.

Walking pace will be gentle, on well established paths but there may be some sections over uneven ground and through longer sections of grass and vegetation so wear suitable clothing and footwear.

Meeting place will be Pontnewydd Park off Mount Pleasant Road.  We will meet at the canal entrance to the Park by the new pedestrian bridge.  Please contact Alice Rees [email protected] for a map of the meeting place if required.
