A light guided walk in nature; the walk is designed to be slow, and accessible to all, the walk takes in nature through the art of 'forest bathing'.
The Forest Bathing experience is the practice of immersing yourself in nature in a mindful way, using your senses to derive a whole range of benefits for your physical, mental, emotional and social health. It is also known as Shinrin-yoku. 'Shinrin' means forest and 'Yoku' means bathing.
We meet at Pontypool Park, the walk meets at the cafe, then leaves at 11am. Join us every first Tuesday of the month and see the changing seasons with a calm forest bathing walk in Nature.
We request that attendees wear suitable clothing for being outside in the weather and footwear for walking where it may be muddy.
