JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible to: Food-bank Project Manager Responsible for: Collections and deliveries of foodbank stock. Salary: Voluntary Hours: Part-time - Wednesdays 9.30am-2.30pm & Fridays 9.30am-1pm (occasional cover for holidays and sickness on other days may be required). Responsibilities: • To assist the driver with collecting donations from supermarkets and occasionally from local businesses as required. • To assist the driver with delivering re-stocks from the warehouse to the distribution centres. • To assist the driver with picking up Fareshare from a central collection point and deliver to distribution centres warehouse. PERSON SPECIFICATION Experience: • No experience necessary Key Skills: • Ability to work independently and unsupervised • Reliable, punctual and good time-management skills. • A team player • Hard working Personal attributes: • Honesty and integrity • Helpful, Friendly and outgoing • Passionate about tackling poverty • Physically fit as regular lifting is required.
