Role Purpose
As the Creative Dance & Menopause Lead for Active Angels, you will design and deliver inclusive, supportive, and empowering creative dance sessions tailored to women experiencing peri-menopause and menopause. Your role is to create a safe, welcoming space that promotes physical activity, emotional wellbeing, confidence, and connection through movement. You will help break down barriers around menopause, encouraging open conversation and positive lifestyle choices through creativity and peer support
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and leading creative dances that are accessible, inclusive, and appropriate for women at different stages of menopause.
- Creating a supportive and non-judgemental environment where participants feel comfortable and encouraged.
- Adapting activities to suit different abilities, energy levels, and confidence levels.
- Promoting wellbeing through movement, creativity, and gentle physical activity.
- Working with Active Angels to promote sessions and encourage engagement within the community.
- Supporting awareness and understanding of menopause in a positive and empowering way.
