Community Cinema Support - Ponthir Village Hall
About the Role:
Are you a film fan who enjoys helping others have a great time? We’re looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support our Community Cinema events. These screenings bring people together for affordable, fun evenings out – and volunteers are key to making it all happen! You’ll be helping to set up the space, welcome guests, serve snacks, and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere. No experience necessary – just a love of movies and community spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help set up and pack down before and after film screenings
• Welcome attendees and provide a warm, friendly presence • Assist with refreshments, ticketing, or ushering
• Support the smooth running of the event • Help promote upcoming screenings if interested
• Work as part of a small, supportive team What We’re Looking For:
