Role Purpose
- Support directors to be able to use digital equipment going forward.
- Provide strategic technology and digital insight into organisational and operational planning.
- Support strong governance through oversight of data security, systems integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Help ensure the organisation operates efficiently, securely, and in line with best practice.
- Contribute to financial sustainability through technology-enabled efficiency and innovation.
- Represent the organisation in digital, technology, and partnership environments where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic oversight of core systems, digital services, and technology infrastructure.
- Support review of the General Manager role from a systems, digital capability, and operational delivery perspective.
- Contribute to budgeting and planning, particularly around IT investment, cyber security, and digital transformation.
- Support development and review of policies relating to data protection, cyber security, and systems governance.
- Ensure appropriate systems, controls, and monitoring are in place to protect organisational assets and data.
- Support procurement of technology and digital services to ensure value for money and scalability.
- Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning, particularly IT resilience and data recovery.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology risk, cyber security threats, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate fully in Board and committee meetings, bringing technology and innovation insight.
