Volunteers to transport essential staff to and from work and drive staff to patients for home care in extreme weather conditions. 

  • Over 25 years of age  
  • Reliable, dependable  and punctual 
  • Great people skills, friendly and approachable 
  • Understanding of the importance of confidentiality 
  • Able to carry out role on own initiative and as part of a team 
  • Willingness to undertake appropriate training 
  • Clean current driving licence and own a suitable 4x4 vehicle equipped for snow and ice, or have written permission to use a 4x4 
  • To provide transport of essential staff to and from work and drive staff to patients for home care in extreme weather 
  • To transport essential equipment between Health Board sites 
  • To ensure car is road worthy before each journey 
  • To always adhere to the lone worker policy 
  • To adhere to Infection Control current policies and guidelines
