About
Sandy Bear Bereavement Charity works with children and young people from 0-25 years old, who have had someone they love die.
Sandy Bear is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to improving and strengthening the emotional health and well-being of children, young people and their families, who have experienced the death of a loved one. We aim to reduce emotional difficulties in childhood and the prevalence of mental illness in later life that can result in a decreased quality of life, poorer educational attainment, social and health problems and increased vulnerability.
My Name is Sallie and I am the Volunteer Development Officer for Sandy Bear Bereavement Charity.
We always need volunteers to support our work to ensure that we reach as many children and young people who need us. We have a variety of volunteering roles available from assisting in our family support groups to help us raise much needed funds, we really do have a role for everyone.
