Role Purpose
As a Social Media & Digital Volunteer for Woodlands Field, you will support the promotion of activities, events, and services by creating and sharing engaging digital content. Your role will help raise awareness of Woodlands Field within the local community, encourage participation, and ensure information is kept up to date across social media platforms, the website, and Connect Torfaen. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in digital media, communications, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Creating, scheduling, and posting content across social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and other relevant channels).
• Updating the Woodlands Field website with news, events, and key information.
• Uploading and maintaining accurate listings and updates on Connect Torfaen.
• Promoting upcoming activities, events, and community opportunities online.
• Responding to messages and comments in a timely and professional manner, following agreed guidelines.
• Working with staff and volunteers to gather content such as photos, event information, and success stories.
• Ensuring all digital content follows branding, safeguarding, and data protection guidelines.
