  • Hello Marauders On Monday 19th May we will take a walk from the Olive Tree Coffee Shop to the Boating Lake and do a loop back. The route is approximately 2 miles but depending on how people feel we can extend it. The route is mainly pathways but wear boots as we may encounter some more muddier trails. The lakes were constructed in 1971 borne in the success of Roath Park in Cardiff. The park is bordered by Aron Llwyd on one side and a railway line on the other. The lake has facilities but bring a packed lunch if you prefer. There is free parking outside the Olive Tree. I’m sharing a what3words address to help you find this specific location.
